The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign
This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the title's release, to trainers forming strong views on the full roster of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.
With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique designs that emphasize their personalities, one thought came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.
The Ram – Mega Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was almost chosen for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and astrological sign that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. This makes the Ram much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when provoked. Stay on the good side of both and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Similar to a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, whether in its standard and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the creature and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will stand up for their position unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unashamed passion for snacks. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty sap and how it uses its horn to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.
Gemini – Super Medicham
Look at this total queen. You cannot convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of every party, providing an endless stream of gossip to anyone who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an whole Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.
The Crab – Super Manectric
The Crab is commonly considered as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a passionate symbol known for often becoming wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “tremendous quantity of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Cancer is likely to do, it’s rain on their good time.
The Lion – Mega Starmie
Well, did you think I was planning to select the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be far too on the nose, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the identical vibe a Lion offers to the table. Starmie is also said to be transmitting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s typical of a Lion to be staging a performance, even if for extraterrestrials.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally represented in Mega Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.
The Scales – Super Audino
Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their heartbeat. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and trying to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably benefit from Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would likely just make them worry even more about others.
Scorpio – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Mega Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.
Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful little jester” is countless. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “poses to display its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That gives the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, much like a visionary Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the beginning of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Super Chandelure
Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category matches perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
